Overall Satisfaction with Miro

It's a tremendous visual collaboration tool I've been using with agile teams, workshops, training, and personal life, like creating vision boards with my wife or helping my daughter with high-school projects. I love the integration with other tools and how easy it is to put your ideas into diagrams, use memes, and create visually stunning layouts where people can collaborate. I've had over 50 people working on the same project, just carefully locking objects so my layout is not damaged and keeping everyone engaged. I love using the timers, votes, and every tool Miro releases.

Pros

  • Collaboration
  • Visual diagrams.
  • Image search.
  • AI integration.
  • Custom forms.

Cons

  • Sharing with people sometimes is messy.
  • Sizing the canvas.
  • Smart locking objects.
  • Improved productivity.
  • Increased engagement.
  • Return of ROI.
So far, I haven't had any trouble with integrations; I've used draw.io diagrams, mind maps, and avatars, but I've seen integrations with Salesforce and AWS. Google integration is quite powerful, but that integration depends a lot on the security level of your organization. We even have an AI Meeting copilot, and they're adding more AI tools.
Miro works like a charm for remote teams; I've used that for teams in my country and overseas; you only need to ensure that your internet connection works properly, or they will miss changes, and the more objects are in your board, the more you need higher bandwidth. With that in mind, Miro is amazing! Connecting people and seeing their results on a board.
Miro is really similar to Mural, but I've found better templates in Miro, and I also feel like the integrations are better and easier; the marketplace is better.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

For agile transformation projects, it's amazing! Working with teams and visually creating layouts to collaborate with teams. We can use it daily with agile teams, even as a Kanban board, with less functionality, but it keeps the work done. I'll never suggest it for private documents, as it's against the actual purpose of the tool.

Using Miro

I've found it really useful for many escenarios, but when facing a lot of concurrent users, it slows down real bad and starts to complicate the collaboration.

I'd suggest to keep it under 100 users or first train them, because as it's a really simple tool to use, we suppose that everyone will be ready to use it, but that's never the case.
