Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We primarily use Miro to track program-level initiatives in the E2E product development lifecycle. The table object allows product and executive leadership to see where everything is at a glance, with the ability to click into cards for details as needed.

Pros

  • Status updates
  • Whiteboarding / brainstorming
  • Talktracks for async walkthroughs!

Cons

  • Not having a frame of reference for sizing is a bit annoying. It causes problems when copying/reusing content or templates for other boards where sizing is already established.
  • It's too easy to accidentally rename a frame. It would be nice to ensure I am not accidentally renaming it without having to lock it.
  • Improved productivity and communication (and much less churn) by aligning everyday product management work with executive oversight

Miro is just a different tool. We use Miro and Figma/FigJam.

Miro is better for our program level work tracking. And it would completely suit our whiteboarding needs.

But since we use Figma for design, the everyday collaboration among delivery teams happens in FigJam where combined Figma and FigJam assets are centrally located and can be copied/referenced natively.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I find Miro to be easy to use for 99% of my needs, and like others.

I wish I could edit grouped/layered items a bit more easily when creating high fidelity artifacts for presentations. Everything from shifting placement and sizing to even easier identification and selection.
