Overall Satisfaction with Miro
It helps me brainstorm creative campaign ideas with my colleagues, hold design thinking workshops, and review everything involved in the creative process with my team, from strategy to project timelines and creative mockups. It solves the problem of misalignment between teams and facilitates communication through visuals.
Pros
- Collaboration between teams in real time, allowing interaction with various tools like sticky notes, drawing and live cursors.
- Templates with workflows, mind maps, customer journey maps, etc., that make it easy to jump right into working.
- Seamless integration with other work-related apps like Microsoft Teams, Figma and Google Workspace
Cons
- When working on a large or complex board it can get laggy
- It has limited offline functionality, I would like to keep editing my boards while I don't have an internet connection
- Access to boards and permissions can be tricky
- It has significantly reduced the need for meetings, instead everybody on the team can collaborate on the boards and be up-to-date on all projects.
- Campaign timelines were 15% faster, revision rounds were reduced and the teams were easily aligned.
- Teams generate more creative ideas per session
Its infinite canvas and live collaboration tools like the sticky notes, voting and writing make it really easy to host creative brainstorming and for everyone in the team to contribute ideas.
Yes, instead of using a bunch of platforms, we use Miro for ideation, diagrams, gathering feedback, timelines, and planning. This helps us streamline our processes and make them faster and easier.
It stands out because of its versatility, number of tools and balance between structure and creativity.
