Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro board for brainstorming, to facilitate collaboration in meetings, for retros, and to create deliverables like process diagrams, among other things. It's a great replacement for in-person collaboration tools like whiteboards and sticky notes, but also has a clear overlap with productivity tools and systems like Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio.

Pros

  • Brainstorming with sticky notes
  • Process flow diagrams
  • Huge library of templates

Cons

  • Making the process of sharing the board with the right people smoother as recently I have not remember to add people individually so something like "choose who to share with" when setting up a board would be useful
It's generally very ease to use but sometimes come across a few hiccups like one time the board was loading very slowly and another time I wasn't sure who could access the board so started the meeting with 3 people who didn't have access who then generated 3 separate email requests for access (it would have been good to have a reminder when setting up the board to avoid this scenario).
Sticky notes, board templates
Yes. I don't need visio any more. Other than that there are overlaps but Miro is not a complete replacement for them. I wonder if your aim is too wide in scope? I have noticed Miro get more cluttered in the last few years, which has slightly made it less user friendly to me, so I'm concerned about the trajectory.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Well suited: Meeting facilitation when collaboration is needed\

Less appropriate: When a meeting is more relations and requires interpersonal focus then it's better to just be on camera and look at the other person while speaking rather than use a tool to look at.
