Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro for documenting process flows for current state as well as the future state. As an Agile team, we use it to collaborate and do our Retrospective meetings. The problems we are addressing is migrating from old legacy systems to new ones, such as SalesForce. We have to ensure we are fully migrated by the end of 2025 to meet our goals.
Pros
- Organization and structure by being able to create flow charts and Kanban boards
- Being able to collaborate in real time
- You can add content like sticky notes, texts, images, etc.
Cons
- Interface Customization, such as being able to change color background
- Performance Optimization, especially for large content
- Search Functionality can be better in order to really pin-point the content searched
- Team productivity has improved by at least 30% in the last few months
- Project delivery has improved drastically this year alone as we are able to document large amounts of data and able to deliver faster than projected
- Reducing software has helped us use Miro board as the only board for documenting flows and takes away the need for Visio and it saves company money
Real time collaboration between all of the teams. We are able to bring multiple teams across the organization and share the Miro board to collaborate. We are able to use sticky notes to write our feedback and then our Leadership team can view the notes and be able to offer process improvement.
Being able to use Miro as an all-in-one tool has decreased the need for things like Visio to be used because Miro makes doing flows, charts and diagrams that much easier. Being a collaborative tool is something that other programs do not offer, so it makes it that much more effective.
