Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to jot down brainstorm ideas, proof of concept, dashboard prototypes, flow charts and share with my colleagues.

Pros

  • Relevant resources and capabilities
  • Flexibility
  • Collaboration function

Cons

  • The graphic design functions are hard to use. E.g., Formatting on texts are very limited compared to other tools such as Microsoft suites. The shapes are also not allowed to change to other options besides the basic shapes.
  • The "board" is good to place random ideas but hard to keep things organized. It's also hard to navigate from one frame to another. I think there should be a more organized function that just allow users to navigate from one frame to another similar to power-point instead of having to drag around the board.
  • Higher productivity and efficiency, especially when I need to collaborate / share it with my colleagues
The formatting functions are limited and slightly misaligned compared to other tools such as Microsoft suite.
The sharing functions and existing templates to create different types of flow charts / work flow charts that serve different purposes.
Miro certainly serves some needs related to prototyping and brainstorming so I use less PowerPoint.
