Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use it to collaborate across remote teams to workshop ideas and whiteboard strategic storytelling. We have used to collaborate on client pitches, to work together to build out solutions and platforms and for things like creative concepting. We often show to clients as an example of collaboration. Also I am using to show data model and to iterate on changes etc. with my team.

Pros

  • Consolidates information in one place
  • Allows for easy ingestion of data/info from many types of sources
  • Allows many to work at the same time efficiently

Cons

  • It could be more intuitive - takes time for client who are new to learn
  • Easy to get lost
  • Make it searchable
  • Formatting can be annoying - trying to get things to look decent
  • Increased efficiency for pitches
  • Helped us show our smarts and win pitches - at least 4 pitches won
  • Reduced need to purchase workflow/diagram software
It is easy to use once you get a hang of it but there is a learning curve. Some people especially clients get frustrated with it.
Sticky notes, collaboration ability where you can see others working, workflow diagram functionality.
We use it instead of having to purchase separate software to show workflows etc. I am sure our creative department has other examples but I am not as close to that.

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is great for collaboration across team that accommodates many different use cases. I have found it especially helpful when I want to visualize something that is too big to fit onto a PPT slide or where I want to include a flow of many different types of info (excel table, creative image, data vizualizations etc.)/ We also use sticky notes a lot for brainstorming or voting sessions like we used to do in live workshops. Everyone writes ideas on the notes then we organize them into categories, use to generate roadmaps etc.
