Miro Is The Way to Go
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro as a digital white board for every project. I could have a project with just a couple of slides, other projects I have 20 slides just for 1 element of the project. It's a great resource for information to live. Need to update a product I want to purchase, a quick screen shot and I've added the image right to the slide. I get to see other working in real time as well. It's helpful to be able to tell someone "hey, come over to my arrow so I can show you what I am working on". Being able to have a Miro board for each project keeps everything neat and organized. I tried having multiple projects on one board and it just became too much trying to find everything. Having boards for each project just makes communication much more simpler.
Pros
- Real time work
- One location to find everything
- Streamline workflow
Cons
- Conversations on a slide can add up
- Tagging multiple slides
- Hourly notifications instead of instant notifications
- Miro is a main communication tool for everyone
- It's efficient for any team member to access a project and find what they are looking for
- Saves time and effort by having everything living in one place
Sticky notes and freeform drawing has been main tools that impact the day to day efforts on projects. Using a sticky note can be easier to draw attention to a slide rather than tagging team members which can clutter email inboxes.
