Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro for several things, including brand workshops, where we develop ventures' brand identity together with the corresponding teams. To analyze current products in order to develop GTM strategies. To build funnels, customer journeys, and simple wireframing. To create retros with the teams to analyze our journey and receive everyone's input. In general, I use Miro for several tasks and business problems that involve creativity, analyses of subjective things, and to get everyone's opinions seamlessly. It's quite a good tool to categorize a divergent thinking stage.

Pros

  • Brainstorming
  • Real-time collaboration
  • Planning
  • Sticky notes and voting features
  • Customer joruneys

Cons

  • Automatic AI summary of sticky notes, also including the one who posted it
  • Automatic grouping of sticky notes by topics/similar ideas (also AI)
  • Some features like voting on sticky notes are not that intuitive to find
  • Speed of workshops (for branding ones, from several weeks to three 1-3 hrs sessions)
  • Efficiency, as we can collaborate live, async, and leave comments
  • Productivity, as Miro offers templates ready to use for non experts
The UX and UI are quite easy to follow and use. I think in most cases, and scenarios Miro is quite easy to use. Allows for seamless collaborations and has several templates and features that, once you spend some time on the platform and discover, allow for a more productive and efficient usage.
- Sticky notes use
- Templates for different needs and situations
- Features such as shapes, emojis, and stickers, which help to make things a bit more fun
- Automatic connectors between boxes (saves a lot of time)
- Sticky notes voting
- Option to leave comments and tag colleagues
- Wireframing
For me, Miro is enough for my needs. However, I wouldn't say it totally replaced other apps I use. I find it very useful, but wouldn't say that its strongest point is to reduce usage of other platforms, as you would still need Notion, Figma, Canva, and other tools that serve specific purposes.
Miro allows for a more collaborative, intuitive, and easy-to-use experience for several purposes. It's also very flexible for it's use cases.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is really good at the divergent stage of ideas. In other words, when you're working without a predetermined structure, Miro is a very useful platform to help you organize ideas in real-time with colleagues. It's also very easy to collaborate and to quickly gather everyone's ideas simultaneously through sticky notes. The platform is well designed and, in most cases, quite intuitive to use. It has templates and several features that allow you to do most things you'd like to do. I also find it particularly useful for workshops with the teams I work with, which include topics such as brand, marketing, and customer journeys.
