Something for everybody but is too much too much?
Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
- It has helped us to have a central place to share with our team members.
- No way to quantify what our ROI has been - but we have liked it.
We currently use monday.com as a project management tool for our video and immersive media production company. All of our employees have access to it - and we use it to assign tasks and keep track of complicated concepts, ideas, and projects within the company. The business problem it addresses is that previously - we had project knowledge spread across the company in paper notes, spreadsheets, etc. - this helped to centralize that knowledge.
Pros
- Quick look at statuses.
- Ability to organize topics or projects into boards.
- Variety of ways to sort, view, and organize information, depending on how my brain works.
Cons
- Too many features are shown that are a "pay more to unlock this feature" - we pay a lot of money for this service, and it feels a little like a bait and switch.
- Sub-items are difficult to use.
We have never seen a problem with uptime. They seem to have a solid system in place for the back end.
