Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • Like any other tool, the staff needs to be committed to using it properly for its full potential to be reached. Even with only half of the team I work in truly adopting the platform, task tracking has improved drastically. Fewer tasks fall through the cracks.
monday.com is used for almost all departments in the organization. We use it to track projects in web development, advertising campaigns, reporting, and general task management.

Pros

  • Provides a convenient place to discuss certain tasks
  • Flexibility of board structure depending on what your department needs
  • Many integrations with external sources of data

Cons

  • Integration with Google Ads
monday.com integrates with a large number of other tools and platforms, which we appreciate immensely. However, its lack of direct integration with Google Ads drove us not to use its integration with Facebook Ads. We would have made powerful use of this tool for true campaign management across platforms, including Twitter.

What it does provide is still very powerful. It will only become more so if further direct integrations become possible.
I haven't required support as of yet but I believe that is because there are many resources and templates provided by the platform that help you to make the best use of it.
Compared to other similar tools I have used, like Trello, I've found monday.com to be more powerful. It is extremely versatile. Like any other team management tool, the organization needs to fully embrace it for it to have the biggest impact. I haven't experienced any issues with uptime, and while I'd like more platform integrations like Google Ads, I'm still very impressed by this tool's flexibility. If a team truly commits to using this tool, it can be very powerful.

  • monday.com has a lot of flexibility, so it can fit almost any scenario your organization may find itself in.
    • Day-to-day task management within teams
    • Specific project management within and across teams
    • Communication regarding certain tasks (you could basically replace email chains here)
  • So far we haven't found anything monday.com noticeably lacks.

monday.com & Collaboration

Being able to discuss tasks on the same platform instead of in emails back and forth is one of my favorite things about this tool. Many tools do provide that functionality, but when combined with its file management and automation capabilities, one can make use of monday.com's versatility to handle all aspects of a project, including file and resource management.
10 out of 10. This tool is very versatile. If you commit to finding the best way to organize your team and their projects, you will reap the rewards. If not used in a strategic manner, this tool can be used to create busy work that doesn't serve the company. It's up to the organization to make the best use of it.
The tool itself deserves 10/10 for its versatility. It's up to the organization to make use of it in the best way.
