Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • Easier to create tasks and monthly tasks under a larger task.
We use monday.com to send deliverables to our client and capture feedback. It keeps all of the various marketing tasks organized and easy for the client to review. It's nice to have one central place that clients can go to check for deliverables instead of wading through hundreds of emails.

It's being used in one department for one large client.

Pros

  • Flexible templates.
  • Easy conversation threads to follow.
  • Easy to add guest users and train.

Cons

  • Ability to mark up PDFs within the viewer.
  • Ability to set up reminder emails to past due tasks automatically.
It's easy to start using without multiple training sessions. The amount of information available for creating your own projects and organizing makes it easier to start within the tool so you don't have to cement your processes, you can learn as you go and make changes on the fly. I have already recommended to friends or family looking for a project management tool because of these features.
I haven't had to reach out to a dedicated Customer Success Manager since I am able to find everything I need online which is even better! I prefer to be resourceful and the instructions on monday.com and YouTube has been enough to answer my questions. The training session we had was useful and she suggested even more online assets for projects and I have been using those since our training.
Everything has worked as designed. I haven't had any issues with quirks or projects not displaying as they should. The only issue I've experienced is some users not receiving their guest email invite, but I think that is due to email filters, not monday.com. Other than this issue, the transition has been fairly flawless. I also appreciate the desktop notifications since I work in multiple project management software platforms, and it's hard to bounce between these without the notifications.

This tool is great for keeping multiple projects in one place for client approvals. Great for small teams. I also recommend monday.com for client collaboration since it's easy to train guests in.

monday.com isn't the best solution for medium-sized agencies who have quite a few users needed, but smaller budgets for project management tools. it is not the best collaboration tool if you're mainly looking for feedback on images or video since attaching and viewing these assets is not the most user friendly experience if that is all you are looking for.
