Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • Lower pricing allows us to have more employees using it.
  • Increased visibility on projects.
  • Increased collaboration about projects.
We needed a tool to report on our projects that we were using and monday.com was a great solution. We have 11 different products and dozens of projects for each product and it was a clean, simple way to keep our projects updated and be able to report on them to upper management. It started out with about 10 of us using it, and it has rapidly grown to about 90 users in our company. It started out with our IT department using it and now it is all of our organization in some way or another using it.
  • Overview of projects at a high level.
  • Able to link to multiple boards without duplicating work.
  • It does automations very well and eliminates a lot of manual work.
  • Linking sub-items to other boards (sub-items need some more work with them).
  • Linking between boards should be a little easier.
  • Notifications could be better.
It is pretty easy to use. You can be a power user and do loads of automations, or you can be a simple user and do what is required for updating certain things. The nice thing about the tool is that it supports all levels of users and their capabilities and doesn't hinder those that want to do more.
Monday.com has been pretty fast at responding to my requests for help. The only way to contact them is by email. Where chat is becoming more and more available to other companies I would love to see chat as an option. I say this because some of my questions were simple and could have been answered in a short chat instead of waiting for an email.
We have never experienced any downtime with monday.com. I have loved the reliability of the product. I also have really enjoyed the history feature on things so that you can see who changed what status or column to what value and when they did it. It has been very nice to have that visibility.

If you have a few levels (3 or less) of projects or ways that you track things, monday.com does a great job. If you have more than 3 levels to report on, it doesn't do that very well. The automations are great to remove human error on things, some automations need some work on them and don't allow you to automate between certain items.
