Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

Our marketing and website design agency uses Monday.com across teams as our primary project management software. From a CRM perspective, we use Monday to compile and categorize all our new clients as well as the ongoing hosting clients. From the website design side, we use custom dashboard templates to keep our design process and timeline consistent and up-to-date, including using webhooks that connect with our email software to send personalized timeline updates and checkpoints to clients throughout the process. On the marketing side, we organize, plan, assign and track all of our ongoing and on-off projects, including our social media content calendars, which we set up as shared dashboards with the clients to review and approve their content before schedule.

  • Time tracking, especially for reporting purposes, does not work intuitively
  • High-level reporting is difficult or impossible because of the imaginary "folder" structure
  • Often there are bugs with the automations and dependencies

Most of the boards and automated features work really well and are intuitive, but sometimes making them fit into your own processes can be confusing or time consuming.
Customer support team is very responsive to any issues and follows up on outstanding issues.
There seems to be downtimes often or just bugs in certain automation. This is likely because of all of the improvements taking place constantly.

Monday.com can be used for project management in so many different situations. It is ideal for a company that does not connect billing with time tracking and is small enough to do a lot of manual set up. The ability to share boards with people outside the organization is awesome and works really well for social media content calendars.
