Overall Satisfaction with MS SharePoint

SharePoint is being used for data transfers and maintaining control on permissions to all users. It is used department-wise based on the client's project.
Previously we were using FTP but SharePoint is easier when compared to FTP and we can give control to the client also for their review and monitoring.

Pros

  • Data sharing is easy.
  • Very good permissions control.
  • History tracking.

Cons

  • There should be themes available.
  • Sharing options are sometimes not visible.
  • Gave us full control over data.
  • Improved data tracking.
It is helping us to store and share data securely with anyone within the company or outside of it. It gives the ability to highly customize the UI. There are no scenarios when it is not appropriate but you must have a good network connection for proper use of this software.
