Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite ERP

it is used for all financial transactions and all financial reporting. Scope is improving financial reporting and integration reporting for better insights

Pros

  • AP automation is helping the companies to get seamless approval and payment methodology
  • audit trail of all transactions so control is established
  • one world consolidated reporting

Cons

  • suitebilling is very cumbersome
  • cash projections are not real cash just AP and AR , it should be cash burn
  • bank reconciliation is very cumbersome
  • It has positive impact on roi as it is scalable and agile
  • We can use bundles or Top up application
Oracle NetSuite ERP is on a different risk model on the financial side while AML is operational risk.

It is scaleable and agile so we can move along the lifecycle of the company.
for critical matters, ACS is good but non critical , the time lag is lot.
It is well suited for companies as it is on cloud so makes it easier for users to use it and report from it. The payment process in the system is clunky as some of the options are easily available to US based companies and that only EFT and Checks. IT does not cover all modes of payment and cannot have consistency if we rollover to all subsidiaries
