Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite ERP

We use it primarily for order fulfillment, purchasing, and reporting.

Pros

  • Customizable Data Fields
  • User-friendly Interface
  • Accessible with just internet

Cons

  • Speed, many programs can run slow for no known reason that the average user can troubleshoot
  • More customization per industry
  • Reports and Saved Searches are far too similar
  • Positive - Less manual than alternative processes and easily accessible
  • Negative impact - When NetSuite ERP is down; our entire business is down
  • Positive - Significant training avaliable online, encourages self-teaching
Our business environment is unique but not unheard of, and we've spent $100,000s customizing the program to reflect our business needs.

The less complicated your business, the better NetSuite ERP is. Standard customers, items, pricing, single source, single location, single currency... NetSuite ERP is great. Anytime you want to get a touch customization, add a different revenue stream, even use kits or work orders... complication sets in and the system is no longer intuitive.
