Overall Satisfaction with NinjaOne
We use NinjaOne as our Remote Management platform. This allows us to maintain remote access to all machines in our environment as well as a jump box to access remote networks. We are also about to roll out the ticketing platform to replace our SharePoint system. My helpdesk would be very difficult without an RMM solution to use and NinjaRMM solves that problem.
- Installs from Intune with a high success rate
- Has a built-in ticketing system
- Offers other products like documentation
- Offers other products like backups
- Offers other products like MDM
- Reporting capabilities for machines could be better
- Provide a thumbnail image of the endpoint screen
- Allow the ticketing platform to integrate with Power BI
- Saved us substantial cost over its competitors
- Reduced wasteful spending on reinstalling software as tickets
- Provides free training to new technicians
By building out our automation tasks, this system has simplified the day-to-day of our technicians greatly. They have one pane of glass for device management and ticketing and this allows them to complete their tickets quickly and efficiently to allow for more opportunities to get other items worked on. NinjaOne has a great product and they continue to improve and add to the already bountiful product line.
We have not implemented any tools from NinjaOne that impact the security of our IT estate at this time but will be looking into what options are available. Security is always at the forefront of what we are doing so any avenues that can be explored will be. I do like the MFA for admin actions that are built into the platform and this would hopefully prevent any malicious attack from occurring if credentials are harvested.
We have integrated a handful of scripts and used the built-in automation tasks that are offered by NinjaOne. Some of those are simply clearing cache, flushing DNS, or even auto-replying to password reset emails with a standardized response template. There are many forms of automation within the NinjaOne dashboard and we have enjoyed using them all.
NinjaOne offers the same feature set that the big players offer, for a fraction of the price. when looking at RMM solutions, there are several large companies out there that claim that they do everything well, but what we have found is that they often do many things, but not always well. We had a very low success rate with automated deployment using our MDM when using our previous RMM. NinjaOne just works.
