Overall Satisfaction with Nintex
We use Nintex for Document Generation and eSignature use cases from Salesforce. We have done a lot of customizations on top of Nintex DocGen and Assuresign for dynamic template selection, dynamic template data, custom emails, dynamic no.of signers, recipients, Nintex APIs for resending and cancelling signature emails, and many more use cases
Pros
- Document Generation, particularly the merge fields i.e. Salesforce data population on document, user access for docgen tool
- Ability to use Nintex from Flows where we can implement all the custom logic
- Excel as a middleware to implement dynamic signers
Cons
- Nintex DocGen Deployment methods can be improved. Currently it creates a new package every time I want to deploy a change
- More type of jot blocks and feature like making jot blocks read only
- Customization for email templates on Assuresign. We can't use sender input on email templates. Only custom message is supported
- Can't do calculations like some of jot block values in assuresign, This can be implemented
- New fields are not synced to docgen automatically. Need to run the package again manually
- Nintex Assuresign API's documentation is not clear and not upto date
- Nintex Support Team can be improved
- We had a positive impact and improved customer experience
- Since Nintex supports flows in Salesforce, we were able to implement complex business logic
We use nintex in Salesforce and assuresign APIs
