Nintex Workflow for Office365
Overall Satisfaction with Nintex Platform
Nintex Forms and Workflow has allowed us to establish a catalog of generic templates which we can tailor to our (internal) customers’ needs that allow us to quickly move from business issue to immediate value add. Like many IT organizations, we want IT to be viewed as a solution and technology enabler, not a roadblock, and Nintex Forms and Workflow has been a strategic partner in that vision.
Pros
- Cross platform BPA integration.
- Intuitive user interface.
- Able to handle the most simple to the most complex BPA initiatives.
- Multiple approach options in Nintex Workflow and Nintex Workflow Cloud.
Cons
- Forms and Workflow May have to be updated as new features become available.
- Without training, end users may find Nintex Workflow difficult to use.
- Priced competitively.
- Many additional products rolled into that competitive pricing.
- Enables us to transform legacy, non-digital processes to see immediate improvement in process and ROI.
The majority of our Nintex deployments are within the SharePoint Online space, and with the out of the box alternatives, there’s no comparison. Nintex offers us the agility and flexibility we need to tackle the organizations largest, most complex process issues.
Although we’re not restricting it, non-IT users aren’t currently creating their own forms and workflows. Due to the success we’ve had with Jintez solutions coming out of it, and the fact they are often fairly complex, users typically interface with UT for their needs.
We’ve used both Windows Workflow Foundation and Windows Workflow Manager, and for very simple tasks ornprocesses these can work, although fall short when more complex process are introduced. We had also evaluated K2, and although it had MOST of the same functionality, we found the platform to be somewhat restrictive and much more expensive.
