Nintex Workflow for Sharepoint

Overall Satisfaction with Nintex

We are using Nintex workflows and forms heavily to fulfill automation
from various departments of our organization. It helps us to design
automated workflow with ease. Workflows can help streamline and automate repeatable business tasks, minimizing room for errors and increasing overall efficiency.
This, in turn, dramatically improves our business. Managers can make
quicker, smarter decisions, and employees are empowered to collaborate in
a more productive and agile way.

Pros

  • Workflow automation.
  • Forms supporting javascript.
  • Responsive design.

Cons

  • The workflow designer should have more options.
  • Like document conversions.
  • Report generations.
  • Positive - less time and with less difficulty.
  • Positive - Distributed workflows.
Nintex Process Platform is used across the whole organization. We use it
to digitalize our business processes within the SharePoint environment.
Easy to use but depends on the SharePoint settings. It could be more
stable. We also use Nintex Forms. But the Nintex product seems to be
fine for On-Prem but very expensive in the cloud. So have a focus on the
market to check also other workflow tools.
We are using SOA integration as well as Oracle EBS integration.
It was very beneficial to have end-to-end integration with our legacy system.
We are using Nintex for SharePoint 2016 forms and workflows only for all kinds of automation. It has the following benefits over others. It is faster than working with the old SharePoint Designer and its
textual design or Visual Studio with coding. Less complex workflow can
be done very well with Nintex. For large and complex workflow, I would
recommend other workflow tools. Nintex helps basically to move in the
direction of a paperless office. User-friendly Easy to integrate with SharePoint Nice visualization Good overview of process status.
