Overall Satisfaction with Notion

Notion is a great note-taking and planner tool. It's great for taking meeting notes and assigning tasks. The flexibility of Notion allows for collaboration between team members. We can also track the progress of the tasks which helps with timelines, especially with making deadlines. There are many templates which are useful to implement in pages so I don't have to start from scratch.

Cons

  • Attaching photos is difficult as the storage limit is small
  • Typing '/' always triggers the slash command even when I don't want it
  • Difficult to highlight text to add background color as it frequently highlights more text than intended
  • Steady note-taking documentation in weekly meetings
It's very easy to use but there are some annoying features that are triggered. For example, the slash command is always enabled so whenever you type a slash, a menu pops up to ask what you want to add on the page. This is not helpful when I'm trying to take notes quickly and the slash command slows me down.

Yes

Notion is really good for taking notes and compiling notes. For example, it's very easy to add a table and have pages of notes in the rows. Each row is a different page of notes yet it's compiled together through the table. In the table, you can add more columns which is helpful to add the dates, attachments, or comments.
