Overall Satisfaction with Notion

We use Notion to organize essential documents related to the company, the technology department, or specific squads. We also use it to manage documents related to the Discoveries we conduct. This includes research reports, usability tests, and more. Another vital use of Notion for the company is as a repository for customer interviews and project memos.

Pros

  • Documents organization.
  • Databases
  • Charts
  • Customization (colors, sizes, blocks, tags, tables, etc.)
  • Search
  • Templates

Cons

  • Usage data analysis.
  • Charts customization.
  • Delivery visibility.
  • Planning
The notion is straightforward to use. It has simple tools, and while document customization is quite flexible, it remains straightforward. If you want to create more complex setups, it's possible but not required, making it accessible for everyone. All features, such as permissions, sharing, customization, adding new pages, and more, are easy to understand.
I selected these three products, but I don’t think they are as good compared to Notion. Maybe ClickUp, which has started incorporating document features, but none are as simple and complete as Notion for me. Also, they serve different purposes. For example, synchronous interactions are better in Miro—you can impossibly run dynamic sessions in Notion. They have different approaches.

Do you think Notion delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Notion's feature set?

Yes

Did Notion live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Notion go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Notion again?

Yes

I enjoy using Notion, both for work and personal organization. Since it’s highly customizable, Notion fits almost any use case regarding organization, idea exploration, etc. I use Notion for everything from goal setting (both personal and professional) to documenting research findings, interviews, and usability tests. The possibilities are endless. You can set up automations and create templates to make it easier. Overall, I really like it and believe you can get a lot out of it if you take the time to explore the tool.
