Notion is a great value! Templates are really useful!
Overall Satisfaction with Notion
I use Notion in my personal life as well as in my organization, we use it as a notekeeper & a like a wiki with info from various common processes from the organization, these are mostly processes from human resources regarding policies, time tracking, activities & other useful materials. We also use it as i mentioned earlier, as a notetaker for meetings, using to save transcriptions of meeting, and keeping useful links, we also used templates to use it in our sprint planning/retrospective and Sprint Review!
Pros
- Various document templates
- Ease of use
- Versatility
- Collaborative documents
Cons
- Tutorials
- Too much Customization
- Bad mobile app experience compared to desktop
- Formulas in Notion can be a pain to work with
- Increased Productivity - Diminish employee search time of documents by 20%
- Improved Collaboration - Use of collaborative documents in the organization became widespread
- Better Knowledge Management
I don't think that Notion stacks to some of them, i mean i think it's better than Evernote with all it's features, but you really can't compare it that well with ClickUp and Confluence, i mean those are after all deeply rooted to the project management aspect of ClickUp and Jira respectively. in the note taking aspect, and with all the templates, Notion smashes them, but when you consider features like embedding tasks in ClickUp documents or using Jira Queries to populate Confluence documents, it just can't compete
