Overall Satisfaction with ON24

Our B2B Demand generation team uses it for customer webinars, partner webinars, and internal webinars. It helps us drive additional content for our content marketing program throughout the buyer's decision. ON24 also helps generate quality leads and gives us a good ROI. We use it for industry topics on mobile adoption and security. For partners and internal sales, we use it to train and enable partners.
  • Internal communications
  • Lead generation
  • Training
  • ON24's reporting is best in class. It helps cut a lot of time out of building reports from webinar engagement.
  • Console customization allows us to brand the user experience.
  • Very easy to use, for creating webinars to the presentation manager. Most functions of ON24 are very straightforward.
  • Uploading files - We sometimes run into a number of issues with uploading files, videos, etc.
  • The system can be glitchy - Sometimes slides do not transition and presenters need to constantly refresh their browser to get it to work again.
  • Improved recording to live webinars - We always have trouble editing the recorded webinar and they do not sync correctly.
  • Cost is expensive.
We use Eloqua. We are able to pass registrations from an Eloqua form to the ON24 platform and send back data on attendance. We are also able to set up nurture campaigns after a webinar and send leads to SFDC for follow up. In addition, we are also able to apply to our lead scoring program for lead passage.
  • Generated BO.
  • Increased engagement with customers.
  • The system is glitchy at times.
ON24's chat function is good. I would like to see more engagement with our customer account managers as we are paying a lot for this tool. Our biggest problem is we automatically get nervous prior to a webinar because we are assuming some issue will arise during the webinar, which is unfortunate. As part of the contract, and especially at the start of a user's new contract, ON24 should offer live webinar support so new users can feel comfortable using the tool and understand what is needed for a successful webinar.
Webex has improved the tool drastically. I have not been leveraging for webinars but we do have internal accounts. I think for a basic Webex tool it works very well. We selected ON24 due to the level of engagement tools they offer and for the real-time reporting. However, I don't think our teams truly utilize the engagement tools and features as much as we would like to. Some of the features are untouched and that makes the tool too expensive.
ON24 is well suited for a customized experience with real-time reporting dashboards that can deliver exceptional webinars. However, more content and instructions are needed on how to utilize the program's engagement functions.

ON24 and Communications During a Pandemic

On24 is pretty straightforward system when it comes to using it. Someone who has never used the system can understand it in 15 mins or less. It is a complete wizard from start to finish. I really like how they separate the attendee experience from the presenter experience. Two different platforms you use all synced together in one event. Everything is laid out for you, all you have to do is hit start.
