We use ON24 for external webinars, as a registration site for in-person events, for internal town hall events, and - occasionally - as a platform to deliver presentations to existing clients.

- The additional functionality (especially AI) needs to mature before it will become useful for us.
- By holding more webinars (and promoting them beyond our existing client database), we have generated thousands of new contacts.
- The ease of use has enabled us to add an additional tool to our marketing toolbox without having to hire deep webinar/events specialists.
- The integration with Salesforce has enabled our relationship owners to see how engaged their client contacts are.
We have integrated ON24 with our sales automation platform (Salesforce CRM) to give our relationship owners visibility into their contacts' engagement with our webinars - which are one of the top three marketing tactics we use to reach clients and prospects. We have also included ON24 and webinars in our lead scoring process, so it is contributing to our generation of marketing qualified leads. It helps us measure the effectiveness of our content and refine it for the future.
I'm more of an analog marketer - not as savvy or hands-on with marketing technology. But I know marketing strategy and how to influence customer behaviors very well. Having a very user-friendly, intuitive tool like ON24 has given me and our small marketing team the ability to do much more, but without adding proportionately more work to our already-full plates. In other words, we get a significant return on our investment of time in using the platform.
From what I've seen, ON24 is built specifically to meet the needs of event marketing (or marketing generally), versus the other platforms which are more about simply providing a mechanism to hold virtual meetings. The integration with sales and marketing systems is really valuable. I don't know about pricing differences, but if the competitors were comparable, I would still select ON24.
