Overall Satisfaction with OneCause

We used OneCause for our event management and planning, This included the event website, sponsorships, their tables and tickets and tickets for attendees to access as well as setting up the silent and live auction items. We also utilized the paddle assignment and table seating features and corresponding with attendees.

Pros

  • All-in-one option for event management
  • Easy Table/Seating Assignment
  • Fairly Easy Integrations

Cons

  • Event attendee side is a little cumbersome to use
  • Navigating sponsorship info, logo is a bit confusing
  • ROI was not where we would like it
  • Somewhat of a time saver for our event planning
  • Nice and professional event site
Fairly easy to navigate overall while some features were hard to navigate or adjust depending on system defaults. Like Auction items and sponsorship information. Easy to make mistakes if you aren't careful to double check or know to even look in the first place. The tips within the system were pretty helpful though
The support we received was pretty timely and the representatives we work with had good general knowledge. Some more in depth questions or system issues were pretty frustrating to deal with as an event approaches and you have attendees waiting for resolutions.
We selected OneCause initially because of the abundance of features. After doing a few events, the price point and frustration were not worth it.

In our experience, as a small non-profit, that really tries to keep costs down on the back end and keep as much funds as possible going to our different programs the cost of OneCause coupled with some of the frustrations of using the platform hasn't been worth it for our event management.
