Overall Satisfaction with OneDrive

OneDrive is convenient because it is built into Windows 8+ and the latest Microsoft Office apps. It is about on par with other cloud storage services, such as Dropbox and Google Drive.
  • Windows integration
  • Cross-platform support
  • Microsoft Office integration
  • The interface is sometimes lacking
  • The web apps sometimes lack vital features only present in the native apps
  • No Chrome OS support from Microsoft (unlike Google Drive, which works on Windows and Chrome OS)
Google Drive vs. OneDrive largely depends on the other software you use. If your organization largely uses Google Apps, Google Drive may be the way to go. If you use Microsoft Office and Windows, OneDrive may be the better choice.
OneDrive is great for sharing Microsoft Office files. The main problems I have had is in organizations that primarily use Google apps, since a Word doc can be shared on Google Drive, but a Google Doc cannot be shared on OneDrive.
