Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Database 12c

80-85 percent of data from the university is stored on an Oracle Database and all apps connect to our DB.
  • Recovery. Recovering the database is more reliable than any other I know of.
  • Speed and performance.
  • Reliable.
  • Querying large amounts of data, fast.
  • Recovery of a database to a point in time needs to be easier.
  • I'm not sure on ROI, as I am not in position to make those decisions.
Oracle is much more advanced and more reliable.
The Oracle Database is well suited in any environment that needs to store large amounts of data or support multiple applications across different platforms.
