Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Java SE Subscription

Java SE Subscription is used across our organization and it helps in timely updating the security directly from the Oracle. It [also] helps in cloud deployment issues. Spending cost over upgrading can be reduced easily by managing Java platform with Java Subscription. JAVA FX doesn't need [an] extra support contract if we have Java SE Subscription. We also use Oracle Java SE Subscription to enhance our legacy application to the new environments.

We've worked with Oracle Java SE Subscription for a long time as it's our client requirement. A couple of years ago we tried considering others, but Oracle Java Subscription stands very unique in various aspects like platform independence, security , reusability and the quality of support. There are so many trained users available for Java which is an added advantage to us.
As I mentioned before, quality of support from Oracle Java SE Subscription is extraordinary. The speed of resolution and the expertise of the staff is really appreciated. We raised a high priority support incident which blocked our process [and] Oracle Java SE support did a quick analysis and provided a solution which took less time than we expected. They also help us in installing patches and updates whenever required.

Pros : Java SE Subscription is well suited in cloud deployment, server, and desktop. It [is] easy creating many Java applications with [the] best customer support.

Cons : User Interface is not attractive. Project building time takes a little longer time than usual. Certification's cost is little high. Complex support framework. Installation process is tricky for new user.
