Overall Satisfaction with PagerDuty
PagerDuty is being used within our DevOps and Cloud Operations teams. We use it for notifying those on call for issues that are triggered via our monitoring software.
Pros
- Provides clear schedule for users
- Makes setup for new users easy
Cons
- Better security around who can see your alerts
- Show all schedules on one calendar
- Allowed us to be notified of issues and keep infrastructure online.
We've never missed an alert. If we do, it's the individual who received the alerts problem, not PagerDuty's.
We plug AWS, Azure and our data centers into PagerDuty and the ease of use is amazing. No problems setting up anything to be alerted on it.
