Overall Satisfaction with PandaDoc

Our company is very small (just me and another partner), so it is being used across the whole organization. We needed a way to send clients proposals and contracts in the same place and also have them be able to sign them or pay for their deposit at the same time.
  • Easy for clients to use
  • Lets clients sign and pay for deposit
  • UX/UI for designing the documents (I think Proposify does this better)
  • Have trouble getting images to show up when saving to PDF
  • Ability to keep track of client proposals and deposits
  • We use it as a reference to go back and see what the project scope was and how much our estimates were
The reusable templates are very helpful in saving time. Also the variables where you can leave as placeholders to enter a company’s name or address, etc.

We don’t have any experience using the content library because if I remember correctly that was an extra feature. But I imagine that would save time as well.
The notifications are helpful so you can see if a client has even viewed the document yet or not.

The mobile friendly e-signatures are helpful too for clients. I’m not sure how many of ours have used mobile signatures vs. doing it on the computer, but I imagine probably a few since everything is done on the phone these days.
You can customize these to fit your brand’s look and feel, making it very professional. Plus it just feels very professional overall and giving them the options to sign and pay helps that too.
We explored a few different methods before deciding on PandaDocs: we thought about creating all of our proposals in one of the Adobe programs like inDesign and then just exporting them as PDFs. But 1.) that would be too much work and 2.) I think the option to add e-signatures was extra if I remember correctly.

Another option was Google Docs, because they have e-signatures, but it’s hard to design those and clients also can’t pay their deposits.

I think we we looked at Proposify but it may have been too expensive.

We ended up choosing panda docs because it met all of our needs
I think it’s well suited for any kind of small business or agency who needs to send over any kind of proposals or contracts. You can make templates too and reuse those so you can save time.

I imagine it would be good for very large businesses too, but I can’t say for certain.
