Overall Satisfaction with Paycor

Applicant tracking, onboarding, payroll, training, HRIS.

Pros

  • Applicant tracking system is smooth
  • Most processes are easy to use
  • Reporting is ok, when it works

Cons

  • Customer service
  • Adding more areas for notes in employee database
  • Better functionality of some features when not using the time and attendance piece
  • Ability to impersonate an employee (this was added and then taken away)
  • In my experience, Paycor is unable to track our PTO correctly, which frustrates employees
  • In my opinion, I've wasted more time on hold than I can possibly calculate
Our HR and/or payroll team is spending more time than we did previously due to Paycor.
It's an easy to use system.

There are good things about the system, but they are no better than most other systems out there. The issue is that, in my experience, Paycor customer service is awful. In my opinion, Salespeople promise things, or lie about things, and then stop answering you. Any person who knows anything about the system is so well protected from the customer that it is impossible to get answers. In my experience, you are constantly encouraged to look for answers in their database, but those only cover the very basics of any process- not the things that you need help with. A fairly simple w-2 issue (which, in my opinion, was Paycor's fault) took months to fix.
