Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Our brokerage partners with our clients to implement, support and integrate Employee Benefits with Paylocity. In my experience, Paylocity's team is very segmented (i.e. Benefits, Payroll, ACA) with no cross training-this limits the amount of help Paylocity can provide when integrating Benefits without getting many employees involved and trying to implement and schedule with this segmented approach is challenging. Paylocity also does not have an implementation plan or project plan when working with the client/broker and this leaves a lot to be desired in understanding what is expected and without a timeline provided by Paylocity, there is a lot of unknown. The process could be much more streamlined and make it a better user experience. I have been in this industry for 15 years and while Paylocity's technology is outstanding, the "self service" of providing documents instead of a dedicated implementation manager to walk the client through the process is frustrating.

Paylocity has amazing technology. If someone is well versed in Payroll/Benefits, this would be an ideal platform for them, as much of it is Self Service. If you have someone who is more green to HR/Payroll/Benefits, the setup is daunting and there isn't a lot of support provided, leaving the client with a lot of frustrations. The Paylocity team is also very junior and segmented in what they are trained on and that leaves a lot of unanswered questions when you do have someone at Paylocity's attention.

Paylocity Support

The support is limited, as is the availability of Paylocity's employees, as well as their lack of cross training. When Paylocity is involved, there are a lot of unanswered questions and follow-up usually includes a document or self-service, which isn't helpful, especially when the client is inexperienced in general or with Paylocity.
