Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for a payroll service and also to request/calculate all aspects of our paid and unpaid leave.

Pros

  • Timely turnaround for Payroll
  • Easy to contact someone when you need help and a quick response on help issues
  • Very user friendly products

Cons

  • Allow us to opt out of things we don't use
  • make reports a little easier to use
  • Add direct deposit information to the new hire template
  • Reduced turnaround time for leave balances and requests allowing them to pass through less people.
  • more consistent and quicker process with time of requests and approvals
  • less errors processing payroll with populated batches
We have a very low turnover rate in our organization and don't utilize a lot of these features/products Paylocity offers.
We don't utilize these tools
Neither service were fully automated or as user friendly at the time we used them as Paylocity has been.

PeopleSoft Financials, Concur Invoice, Navisite Productivity and Collaboration (Microsoft Office 365 and MDM)
We are a union organization with multiple contracts and levels. Paylocity works well for us allowing us to accommodate the various contracts and levels employees need to be entered with. It has helped us go from a paper tracking system with our time off to a totally electronic request and tracking system that is not tied to our payroll. This has worked incredibly well for us.
