Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I am an HR Department of one. When I moved into this role, it was my goal to bring new technology into the department to help me with all the day to day HR functions that require manually entering data, employee changes, payroll deductions, electronic signature (as most of our staff work in the field), etc.
I use Paylocity as my HR Generalist/Coordinator. It free's up my time to allow me to do more with the staff and culture rather than enter data manually, myself.
  • Its ability to be interconnected with our 401k provider as well as our benefits adminitrator.
  • Employees love how user friendly the system it.
  • Its ability to create electronic documents so employees can view/sign off on forms/policies without having to come to the office.
  • Amazing customer service

  • I'd love to see a function that alerts employees when their time off accruals are almost maxed out.
  • Many of the features cost additional money.

The onboarding process saves me approximated 1 hour of time with employee on their day one. I do not want an employee spending hours on paperwork during their first day of hire. I want to spend this time with more critical day one funtions. As a department of 1, Paylocity acts as my Generalist/Coordinator, saving me thousands of hours of work per year. Its ability to integrate with our 401k providers, our benefits adminitrator and the fact that employees can now make their own demographic, direct deposit, tax and other personal changes, saves me the time of manually making these changes in the HRIS system. I simply approve their change.
Payroll USED to take hours our of my day bi-weekly, but with Paylocity, I can get payroll submitted within 30 minutes.
The fact that employees can remain connected even when they are not in the office is huge for our home health agency. We have annual forms that need to be revied and signed, Paylocity has the ability to do all this electronically.
Their customer service and the amount of products it has to offer is incredible. I also like that you can pick and choose when to implement a new feature. It was not something I had to do all at once, so the process was more welcoming to staff knowing I could and would be implementing new feautres through the year.

As a home health agency, our staff are not in the office most days. Paylocity allows our staff to remain connected on so many different levels. There is community which allows for group chats, announcements and celebrates people on their achievements. It also has the ability to send out surveys as well as electronic documents that can be signed and stored directly in employee electronic files. This program has really allowed our staff to remain connected and has eased up the burden of field staff needing to come to the office everyday.
