Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I am responsible for a biweekly payroll of 65 staff.
We have used Paylocity for the past 14years.
Paylocity handles our payroll taxes, state reporting, generating garnishment related checks and calculating and distributing yearly w2 forms.

Pros

  • Program is easy to use
  • Adding in new employees is a 'one page' step - quick and easy!
  • Rapid Customer Service response with any questions!

Cons

  • Report generating is difficult to navigate/understand
  • When entering new employees, prompt data entry with a "please review" before saving the information as it cannot be changed.
  • Reduced time necessary for payroll processing

Paylocity is less cumbersome. When I used the other company, if you encountered an error you had to go back to the beginning of the "cycle" and start over, Paylocity allows for changes during the process - very convenient!
