We enjoy using Paylocity for payroll. Set up and application is an easy and intuitive process.
It has also been a valuable and very easy to use tool in hiring. It is as simple as entering the job requirements and post. It hits the major job boards and helps screen out the right person for the job.

- Payroll with H2A employees. They have different rules and procedures. Different information needs to be on the check. This is still a manual process for us and consumes a lot of time.
- Different State employees.
- Honestly, I only have two issues.
- Reduced time on Payroll preparation
- ability to "program" timeclocks to prevent early clock ins
- tax time is no time on the office.
- Maybe offer pre stamped tax documents. I'd pay a premium for it.
I wear many hats for a seasonal operation. This makes all of the above easier on me. I can check the progress of a job posting and work the new salary into my budget before the actual hire. Paylocity is the Swiss army knife in my assets tool chest. Overall, it saves time and gives me peace of mind.
It has no impact on my employees. We've tried to see if we could implement this, they are mostly unwilling to use it. We have offered their own portal, and they choose not to use it. Which is very evident when tax time comes around, and a few didn't get their documents. We mentioned that they can access online, they choose not to.
