Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use HRIS system every day for everyday use, whether it be clock in, clock out, PTO, employee information, performance reviews, recruiting. We pretty much use every single module of the Paylocity system.

Pros

  • So far we've done a lot of product use performance evaluations where our employees do their evaluations every year, but we also do journaling and one-on-one meetings. I think that's probably one of the best benefits of the system. We've transitioned into the compensation module as well, so that's helped us out with pay increases and also the compensation within the company.

Cons

  • I do have some little quirks that I would like to fix and that's in performance. You have to actually do the filters to search for a certain item that you're looking for. And if you don't know that you have to clear those filters out, you're going to be struggling. So I wish that the filters weren't right away there.
  • Actually the data driven is one of the good ones that we can say has been a positive impact because we have that data now. Before, our system was a really manual process, so having that data just at the tip of your hands has been a great benefit for us. And utilization, also payroll, the error factor in that has been less so it's been a great system.
Recruiting would be a big one. Before it was a really manual process and now we have candidates at the tip of our hands and we can see all their information right away without having to go to a third party business to find recruitment.
It has streamlined our work and employee life cycle
It’s pretty straightforward forward and user friendly
I've used other companies before and they don't match up to Paylocity. I've used ADP, Paycom and I just like Paylocity better. The functionality of it. It's very intuitive. You don't have to struggle. It's pretty fast compared to other companies as far as what you're trying to accomplish and it's really intuitive.
