Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I utilize for payroll, time clock for employees, and some aspects of HR. Problems it addresses for us is accurate time keeping and ease and speed of processing payroll

Cons

  • Training is not good at all
  • allow for customization - Paylocity classic - some people don't like the changes
  • Some reporting features aren't exactly user friendly
  • The payroll provides a quick turnaround time
  • punching out/punching adds an ease to the employee
  • some online trainings have been beneficial
This is where I mentioned earlier to allow for customization - have a Paylocity retro or classic feature. I get advancements are made consistently, but sometimes if it's not broke - there's no need to fix it.
Honestly, I have tried to get this going where I'm at. It's not really utilized to it's fullest potential (other than having success with surveys). Would love to see what other people/clients are doing with these features.
I wasn't at my company when Paylocity was chosen, but I've used People Soft with a prior employer (along with doing it manually through Excel). Paylocity was A LOT easier to use, and work with than anticipated. While I was new to the software, it was incredibly easy to adapt to and learn.

Yes

Customer service is superb. Minimal if any hold time, and rather quick to resolve issues.
