Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We utilize Time & Labor, Onboarding, HR & Payroll, Compensation, Learning, Marketplace, Performance, Recognition & Rewards, Recruiting, WebLink and Workflows & Documents. We also have integrations setup wtih bswift and several other feeds. Issues that we have are getting proper support from Paylocity on issues that arise or questions we have. While the product is great and is constantly evolving, it seems that the support isn't there to help us with utiling the system in its entirety.

Pros

  • Constantly enhancing and evolving the products
  • Extremely user-friendly system
  • Reporting is fantastic and easy to use
  • Forward thinking in what companies may need the system to use, and taking suggestions and implementing those ideas

Cons

  • Better support and ability to speak directly with subject matter experts vs going through our account reps that may not have the knowledge needed to answer the questions or provide further insight on what we are asking about
  • Workflows & Documents - excited for the next enhancements coming on this system and being able to utilize the system how we need it for some different workflows we use
  • Would be great to have our account rep notify us directly if there are enhancements or changes in the system before they happen, that may impact us directly. There often seems to be changes and we didn't know about it and some times they have caused issues.
  • Ability to have multiple processes in one system
The continued enhancements continue to make our jobs easier and more streamlined. We are constantly looking to see what systems are being enhanced so we can utilize it to make our lives and our employee's lives easier.
We utilize Teams for some of these so have not utilized Paylocity for many of these yet.

Would you buy Paylocity again?

Yes

Love all of the options and modules within the system and the constant enhancements and improvements, but the support is the main thing I would be hesitant to recommend. It seems that the product development moves quicker than the training for the the account reps and that doesn't provide good support to the company when we are using the system and can't get answers or fixes to issues.
