Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for everything HRIS related, from employee engagement, to payroll, etc. It is an all-in-one place for employees to see their pay and benefits information.

Pros

  • User Interface is easy to use
  • The community section has great promises

Cons

  • The benefits section needs a lot of work done.
  • There should be a way to create a report that comes from multiple categories, we often need to pull two reports and then combine them.
  • There is less time spent with workflows being able to be done directly when an event happens.
The offer letter management is a great tool to have, you can use templates and adjust information as needed.
This area could use some work, it has the potential to be a great feature. We want to be able to have employees get notified of others recognition but there is currently no way for that. The community is also great, but can use some fine tuning.

Paylocity has the ability to be a great resource, I think they grew too fast for what all they offer. It is often difficult to get answers to problems quickly whether its through calling or emailing.
