Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use it payroll, recruiting, onboarding, and HR. I've essentially gone to a paperless system using Paylocity.

Pros

  • Timekeeping
  • Integration with other products (VOYA)
  • Onboarding

Cons

  • Performance evaluations are not user friendly
  • Benefits management
  • Setting up timekeeping on new employee is a lot of clicks
  • Time saver processing payroll
  • Paperless record-keeping
  • Time saver with self-serve
So much time saved on timekeeping and payroll. Easy retrieval and employee documents. Onboarding processes are great and ensure that nothing is left out.
Our employees never use it. I have not used surveys, although I have used the training video tool.
We've been with Paylocity for 11 years. Compared to Paychex at the time, Paylocity was way ahead. Not sure about Paychex currently.

I think it's well-suited for most businesses. It might be too much for small business that didn't need all the "bells and whistles."
