Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Currently we use it for all of our HRA programs and for our FSA flexible spending. So we utilize it every day actually because we always have a new hire, unfortunately through our turnovers. You're always in the system and I do like it because once we get in, if we create an issue, sometimes we forget to add someone and we can call in into customer service and they get them added for us right away.

Pros

  • The pros would definitely be that you key in that dollar amount, say for instance for your FSA and it automatically just rolls through. You automatically do it through your payroll. It tells you exactly what to take out biweekly. Then it also deducts from our main account. Perfect. It always balances, so that's nice, especially when you're dealing with people's money.
  • Then I would say with our HRA program, it's a great benefit because we have a $5,000 deductible and the county reimburses $3,500 and it keeps all track of that and it makes sure you're legal and you're compliant for the whole process. So you don't ever want to do that at ground level. You want someone else to be able to handle that for you.

Cons

  • If our only area of improvement honestly is the system slows down, that's it.
  • Positive because on your HRA you have to go by the law on that. There was somebody that didn't turn their's in when we called it in, they're like absolutely not. You got to do it by that March deadline. If you were doing that at ground level and you reimburse somebody's funds, you're breaking the law.
We only use it for those two things, but I'll say it's been a phenomenal easy transition because once you enter it, you don't do anything else. Paylocity does the rest, so you can't go wrong.
The employee loves it because they can sign in, they take ownership in it. When they can personally take care of it makes the employee a lot more happier because they don't want to deal with a person, they want to go with technology. So I love it.
It makes my job easier.
We don't have any other product. This is the only one we did and we liked, so we haven't sought out anywhere else.

For us particularly, I can only speak and it works well for our FSA and the HRA. I don't use it for any other thing else, so I can't really speak to that. But on those two items, outstanding.
