Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I use Paylocity to process payroll. Paylocity is generally very easy to use. Sometimes some reports are not easy to access. Also, moving between some processes is sometimes not as intuitive as I would like. But generally, it is pretty simple to use.

Customer service is helpful in answering questions and assisting with showing how to tasks that have me stumped. Occasionally there are long hold times, but most of the time the customer service hold time is less than five minutes.

It is also reasonably priced especially when compared to my previous processors (Paychex and ADP).

Pros

  • Good and efficient customer service.
  • Reports are easy to read.
  • Onboarding new employees is simple and quick to accomplish.

Cons

  • Sales team should tell me they have services or modules that they want to sell to me. I don't like it when a rep calls me to say they want to set up a time to review how things are going when they are actually trying to sell additional services.
  • Moving between payroll tasks could be more intuitive.
  • Significantly reduced costs from previous processor by about $20,000 per year. With ADP, we paid for services we didn't use. Paylocity allows us to choose and pay for only what we use.
  • Reduced time. Processing payroll semimonthly takes very little time based on ease of use on the platform.
AS stated previously, Paylocity's platform has greatly reduced time needed to process payroll and has saved significant money.
As mentioned previously, Paylocity design makes use simple and time efficient.
I use them for different things, so comparison is not relevant.

It is well suited for processing payroll. It only takes me 10-20 minutes to process my payroll, since most employees are set up on auto pay.

Based on how I use Paylocity, I don't find anything on the platform to be less appropriate.
