Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
I use Paylocity to submit our payroll and monitor our employees' time punches. The time clock features help us hold employees accountable for their breaks and lunches so they don't steal time/money from the store. I use this feature if not daily, at least weekly. We can also use the scheduling feature to help with labor percentages and how we need to plan the work week.
Pros
- Keeps track of employee time punches and PTO.
- Paylocity send emails regularly to let us know about updates.
- Their customer service is quick and precise in helping solve problems.
Cons
- I currently can't think of anything I have difficulties with.
- All the features I use are simple and straightforward.
- The help button generally can answer most of the basic questions.
- I believe the time clock feature has stopped employees from stealing time from the business and keeps them on track.
Payroll, scheduling, and time tracking are all the features that I generally use. It has been quicker to build a schedules leaving more time to get to other tasks that require more immediate attention. Easy to see who is clocking in/out on time so that we can catch any problems early and address them with the individuals.
I don't believe the Community or Peer Recognition features have had much of an impact. Our employees don't really use the Community tab all that much. I see when birthdays or anniversaries are coming up and take the time to acknowledge them on our message board for the other employees to see.
