Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Our company uses Paylocity as our payroll system. When it comes to our payroll, there are many hiccups and issues. It seems that Paylocity has many departments, and not all of them communicate with each other, which is very frustrating as a customer.

Pros

  • Website is easy to understand and use.
  • Can connect with our retirement plans.

Cons

  • The different departments don't talk.
  • Customer service/support is not always helpful or knowledgeable.
  • Better data tracking for employees across the organization.
  • Savings in time tracking/punching.
  • Ease of access by being able to do everything online.
It has helped allow more time to be spent in other areas, such as HR.
We do not use this function very much. However, when we do use it, it has been useful for communication purposes.
Overall, it is user-friendly. The online platform is easy to understand for the most part.

Overall, it works as a payroll system and keeps employee records in one spot. But there are areas where it isn't always user-friendly or has limitations.
