Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We utilize Paylocity for time tracking, recruiting, and payroll. It has been essential to streamlining our internal processes and making the most of our time at work.

Pros

  • Houses critical data when it comes to recruiting and onboarding new employees.
  • Tracks all employees time easily.
  • Provides automations that streamline many pieces of our recruiting process.

Cons

  • The reporting is particularly challenging and not user friendly
  • Consistency from sales to what is actually provided
  • More native integrations with other platforms
  • It houses data needed to make important decisions about our company.
  • It provides valuable insights when it comes to compensation.
  • The automations in the recruiting phase have been particularly great and have saved us a lot of time and headache.
We have been able to automate our recruiting process and customize it for each department hire, which used to be a mess.
We don't use the recognition or surveys part of Paylocity.
I have moved to a different software and seen how bad others can be and Paylocity is WAY better than the other platform. There are still areas that could be improved, but overall, it's great!
  • Rippling
Rippling didn't deliver 10% of what they told us they would deliver. When we came back to Paylocity, we were told we would be able to access all historical employee data indefinitely, but when we lost access one year later, I was told we'd have to pay $1,000 to gain access to our old records with Paylocity, which was very frustrating.
