Overall Satisfaction with Vasion Print

Vasion Print gives us the ability to remotely install copiers in mass on end user devices in a easy to use, and cloud native portal. I can quickly change printer names and update them globally with a few clicks rather than updating the print configuration on the print server which is usually tedious and unreliable.

Pros

  • Easy to setup
  • Integrates with multiple Idps
  • Simple hierarchy
  • copier install by subnet
  • Not on premise hosted leaving infrastructure highly available in the cloud

Cons

  • settings is busy hard to find things
  • Idp was hard to setup but it mainly was due to myself never setting it up before
  • deployment by subnet was a little confusing at first but now I'm versed with it
  • seems all printers like to use the universal driver but not a requirement by Vasion Print
  • Positive deploying printers is easier and quicker without end user intervention
  • Can add printers in seconds
  • Can upload any drivers that I wish
  • self service portal for staff who need specific printers but not all

Do you think Vasion Print delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Vasion Print's feature set?

Yes

Did Vasion Print live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Vasion Print go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Vasion Print again?

Yes

We have cloud managed devices and deploying to workstations quickly without printer shares, able to push printers directly to workstations without user input, and not having to worry about print nightmare vunerability on Microsoft's side. Not sure when Vasion Print is less appropriate since they are pretty supportive of multiple technologies and easy to setup.
