Overall Satisfaction with Vasion Print

We support a client who uses Vasion Print for managing multiple MFPs across multiple physical locations. Having a single pane view of all the MFPs and being able to push out print drivers has made new endpoint setup simple and fast.

Pros

  • Print Driver Mangement
  • Secure (off network) printing
  • Inventory

Cons

  • Managing multiple tenants with one login
  • Migration to another account
  • Off network printing, provides us selling points for security
  • Driver management - Don't have to physically touch new endpoints
Xerox workplace cloud is similar but more restrictive and has more bugs. PL is definitely preferred.

For any organization with multiple MFPs it is well suited. We also manage many small businesses that only have one MFP where it may be less appropriate to have Vasion Print.
